DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY
DHA Dance choreography is the act of designing dance.
Aspects of dance choreography include the compositional use of organic unity, rhythmic or non-rhythmic articulation, theme and variation, and repetition. The choreograhic process may employ-improvisation for the purpose of developing innovative movement ideas. In general, choreography is used to design dances that are intended to be performed as concert dance.
Dance techniques may include ballet, contemporary dance, jazz dance, hip hop dance, folk dance, religious dance, pedestrian movement, or combinations of these.
RUNWAY TECHNIQUE
DHA Runway Technique focuses on building confidence, improving interpersonal skills, fostering positive images and self challenges.
Lessons may consist of ample walking, turning and standing. Instructors
may also influence possess clear skin, healthy hair.
DRAMA COACHING
DHA Drama coaching includes dramatic activities and games used primarily in educational settings.
Experiences will involve using imagination and creativity to act out stories, poems, or original ideas.
Creative Drama is also improvisational, non-exhibitional, reflective, and most importantly process-oriented. A finished product is somewhat counter-productive in an educational frame. The goals and outcomes of using drama include developing more efficient language and communication skills, practicing problem solving, creativity, a positive self-concept, becoming socially aware, developing empathy, values, attitudes, and an understanding of the art of theatre.
